The ERC’s collection includes information on all aspects of clinical and
support services related to continuing
care in facilities and the community.
As well, resources are available to enable managers and educators to assist
teams and individuals in the
areas of teamwork, stress management, personnel
management and more.
Visit the catalogue link to search for and request books, videos, kits, games and posters.
There is no charge for borrowing material from the ERC for continuing care
practitioners
and managers in Alberta.
The services link lists all of the services available to ERC patrons.
There are standard library services like table of contents.
The ERC subscribes to over 200 journal and newsletter publications.
(Journal articles
from
these publications can be requested using the
table of content service.)
The ERC also provides services not typically associated with libraries
including conference
planning and support, the
newsletter, and mail out.
Some ERC services have a nominal fee.
The ERC is staffed by dedicated library personnel who consider customer
service their highest priority.
The centre is located in Calgary and serves
all health care disciplines in over 400 facilities
throughout the province
from High Level to Milk River; Provost to Grande Cache.
