...a provincial health care library and information resource centre funded by Alberta Health & Wellness. The centre provides resources and services to all regions, organizations and agencies that provide supportive living, home living, and facility-based continuing care services in Alberta, Canada. ERC customers represent all health care disciplines and are committed to learning and teaching in support of quality care for seniors.
The ERC’s collection includes information on all aspects of quality care, continuous learning and organization effectiveness.
The catalogue can be searched for books, videos, kits, games and posters. The ERC subscribes to over 150 journal and newsletter publications. Journal articles from these publications can be requested using our eTocs electronic table of content service. Learning and development resources include online learning modules, Educator tools and more.
The centre is located in Calgary and serves all health care disciplines in over 400 facilities throughout the province from High Level to Milk River; Provost to Grande Cache.
